Every parent understands the thief of time and how unapologetically quickly it passes; our children change day by day and before we know it we sit there reminiscing about those moments and milestones in their lives that took our breath away; that we hold so close to our hearts. I’m so happy to create incredible portraits that truly capture people’s personalities, as they are now, so we can look back from all of our tomorrow’s and remember.
What I love most about my job is all the incredible people I get to photograph and spend time with. This young lady truly left me speechless. It’s not often so much passion and drive comes pouring out of those so young. You know when you meet those people that are so positively electric they leave you energised and buzzing? Well that’s Monet. She’s one of the most inspiring people I have ever met.
Monet’s amazing mum booked this photoshoot for her as she’s always wanted to be in front of the camera and would love to be a model. We had so much fun, starting with beautiful hair and makeup over conversations about fashion and the big YouTube personalities I had no idea about. We then turned up some Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars and let the real fun begin.
