Meet Tanya!
Tanya Keenan - Artist, Geelong
Tanya is a self-taught artist of 6 years, residing in Geelong with her beautiful family. Her art is inspired by her love for life, music and flowers. From the time she was young, Tanya always knew she wanted to paint as she was mesmerised by art and colour as a child; and once she started, she couldn’t stop! Experimenting and ‘painting outside the lines’ has helped Tanya develop her unique style, she loves that there are no rules in art, and it really is an expression of self.
Tanya said “I started painting for myself, and then began selling my work at markets. What I love the most about what I do is being able to share joy with my customers. I truly believe being surrounded by beautiful art makes a person happy and I love spreading and sharing that happiness”.
Tanya has the most incredible studio that literally made me gasp when I walked in to photograph her and her stunning art. Not only is it where she creates her masterpieces, but Tanya also runs a variety of workshops for children and adults so get in touch with her if you love being creative and are looking for fun activities for your children over the school holidays!
