I launched the ‘Art of Motherhood’ Campaign with the mission to empower and inspire confidence in women by showcasing their true self, strength, beauty and to celebrate their pregnancy with a Maternity Body & Soul photoshoot. I want to help shift perspectives about pregnancy and show that EVERY pregnant body is exquisite… EVERY body is a work of art. But most importantly, no two pregnancies are the same, and there is so much diversity in how we all experience pregnancy, from how we feel, to how we look - the transformation we go through emotionally, mentally and physically. This season is worth documenting and celebrating.

Meet Melissa
Melissa came in for her Body & Soul photoshoot to not only celebrate her pregnancy but also her 30th birthday. This blog was written after Melissa’s second child Miles was born.
In sharing about her journey, Melissa says “Second time around is not for the faint hearted. There is not much time for rest and self care when you have an energetic toddler in tow. Some days have been a matter of survival. However the excitement of completing our family has been amazing.”
“All our family are back in the UK. With a global pandemic and 2 pregnancies I haven’t travelled home since I arrived in 2018. No one has seen me pregnant so it is lovely to share the images with family and friends back home. It is crazy how much I have changed as a woman since I have seen everyone.
I left a newly married care-free fun woman in her twenties.”
“Now I am a mother of two boys and feel like the years of sleep deprivation have not been so kind. I understand how some women feel they lose themselves in motherhood. However I am so proud of the strength and battle scars I have gained and the all consuming love I have had the privilege of experiencing.”
