Jasmine | Body & Soul

I launched the ‘Body & Soul’ Campaign with the mission to empower and inspire confidence in women by showcasing their true self, strength, beauty and celebrate who they are right now. I want to help shift perspectives about beauty and show that EVERY body is beautiful… EVERY body is a work of art. But most importantly, we are more than how we look and what size clothes we wear. There is a story inside us all that has made us who we are today. And who we are right now is worth celebrating. So I’d love for you to follow along, read the stories of these incredible women and be inspired.

Meet JASMINE

“Becoming a mother at 21 was a huge learning experience for me, I lost focus on worrying about hair makeup and weight because I’d given birth to the most beautiful human in the world.

I have recently left a very violent and abusive relationship which has taken a lot of my confidence and self love away. On a day to day basis I was told I was a ‘fat pig’ and told what I could and couldn’t wear. I was never allowed to go anywhere on my own, I lost a lot of friendships.

In that time I’d also had a car accident which has left me with some nerve damage down my left arm.
These things have somewhat broken me from the strong bubbly and confident women I once was.

Slowly I’m trying to repair myself and learn to love the woman I see in the mirror.”

“Beautiful isn’t a look it’s a feeling, it’s deep inside us. At the moment I don’t feel beautiful, I have gained 15kgs and feel very uncomfortable and awkward.

Owning a beautiful boudoir portrait of myself would be a reminder everyday that I may not see or feel beautiful but a complete stranger can and if they can find that beautiful in me I can to! It’ll be reminder to get up everyday and tell myself I AM BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT!!”

For those struggling to see their own beauty, Jasmine’s advice is: “Don’t ever let the words of another human make you second guess yourself. No one in this world can judge you, shake their shitty vibes off, straighten your crown, smile and keep powering on!”

Jasmine’s words on her Body & Soul experience: “This photoshoot was way better than my expectations, I didn’t feel ready but once I got there Tania made me feel at ease. This experience made me realise how strong and brave I am. ”
